  If you’ve been involved in ESCC much, especially recently, you’ve been wowed by Phyllis’ fabulous still life images. Phyllis says she loves getting into “the flow of the creative process where I lose all sense of time and sometimes have to make myself stop”. A seasoned photographer, she has been actively working in photography since age 19 where she worked as a photographer and manager at a Sears Portrait Studio. Since then she has continued her photography in portraiture, editorial, event photography, and more. Phyllis has been persistent in honing her skills by expanding into still life, taking courses, and “doing lots of trial and error”. She cites her first magazine cover, winning ribbons at the Power of Photography Show and ESCC Exhibits as highlights of her photography career. Hard to believe, but Phyllis says she has had “photographer’s block” for most of this year, but she is determined to change that in 2024. We are all looking forward to seeing more of Phyllis’ superb work this year!
